Many of you have been asking for an easy way to move notes from one projects to another projects. And this feature is now available. Simply click on top of any of your notes, and a field on the bottom right corner of the screen will appear that reads "Drop here to move to another project". Simply drag and drop your notes into this area, and select the project to copy to.
For those who are not on top of the Web 2.0 bandwagon, tags are a very easy way to add classification terms to your Notefish projects that will help searching and discovering the projects later - by you or others. Notefish now supports this. Here is how to get started:
To search by tags, go to the search page and select 'Tags'. The most exciting part is you can now search and discover the shared projects that other people created and shared. And by tagging, and sharing your project without a password, you allow the general public to find your projects too.
See the Help pages on tagging for more details.
You can resize notes now. Every note has resizing handles that you can drag. Move your mouse over a note to make them appear, then use them to set the right size.
We've made Notefish even easier for our Firefox users. The Notefish icon will automatically appear on your Firefox window status bar. Double-click the icon to open your current project or right-click it for the context menu. Click here to install the Firefox extension.
We've just rolled out two new features that will surely make your note fishing much easier.
Feature #1: You can now save notes to a specific project. To take advantage of this feature you will need to install the new version of the Notefish Tools. When you right-click to save a note from web pages, you will see two menu items: "Notefish: Copy" and "Notefish: Copy to...". The former copies a note to the current project, and the latter option lets you select a project, and saves your note to it.
Feature #2: You can now add formating to your own comments. We support paragraphs, lists, web links, and bold and italic fonts. For details, please see our Help Center.
